Fall Kickoff & Vision Walk

VisionWalk

Our Fall Kickoff this year will be held in conjunction with an event that is very near and dear to all Delta Gammas.  Let’s cure blindness together! Please join our VisionWalk team "Anchored in Sight" or make a donation to the Foundation Fighting Blindness to help us save and restore sight to the 10 million Americans living in darkness. Our team is walking in support of someone very dear to us with a blinding eye disease. We hope that you will support our team by making a donation and joining us at VisionWalk! Support our team and help bring us closer to a cure because a Cure is in Sight!

Husbands, kids, friends and family are welcome to walk for our team as well!  This can be a very fun family event and is for a very Ken Young of G&G Metals, and our very own Linda Young's husband, has offered to MATCH every dollar DG raises!!! Ken is a great guy, but let's give him a run for his money! If you cannot join us at vision walk, please consider a donation for our team "Anchored in Sight."

When:  Saturday, October 2nd Registration is at 9 am and the walk starts at 10 am

Where:  Butler University

What:  Foundation Fighting Blindness' 5K VisionWalk.

Please let me know if you have any questions and if you can volunteer to help with the walk.

How can you help as a Delta Gamma Alumna?

DSCN0355

Do you remember your years as a Delta Gamma collegian with pride and fondness? Do you want to reconnect with your collegiate chapter or another local chapter? Our Indiana collegiate chapters (Theta-Indiana, Alpha Tau-Butler, Beta Iota-Purdue, Gamma Iota-DePauw and Gamma Omicron-Indiana State) are always in need of alumnae volunteers to serve as advisors, house corporation members and to help with special events. These volunteer opportunities allow you to get to know chapter members and serve as wonderful Delta Gamma role models. Opportunities range from a one-time event or regular communication with chapter officers. If you would like to learn more about available opportunities, contact Dani Weatherford, Regional Collegiate Specialist, who works with all of our Indiana chapters at RCS4Dani@deltagamma.org or 812-360-4772.
