DGs after 5

Want a great way to connect with other Delta Gamma Sisters? Please join us for DGs after 5!

The events are casual and fun.  It is the perfect event for new alumnae to meet other Delta Gamma Women in Indianapolis.  It is also a great place to reconnect with old friends.  We meet on the 5th of every other month to enjoy dinner, drinks and relaxation.  You can join us for drinks, dinner or both.   Dinners are located on all sides of town to make it convenient for everyone.  You can find out the location and dates for our events on the 2010-2011 calendar and they will be listed on the website.

On August 5th please come enjoy some of Indy's finest Greek food at Santorni Greek Kitchen. Santorini is consistently named as best Greek food by Indianapolis Monthly. Join us for dinner and drinks around 6:30 p.m., and you will find out why others love this place!

Join us!  If you have any questions, feel free to contact Jenn Wadsworth at jennwadsworth@redlinegrp.com, or at 317.418.0887.

Letter from LouAnna

Hello Indy DeeGees:

Wow, is it summer already?!

We have had another great DG programming year!  This summer we'll be planning the next year of events and getting the next newsletter ready for August/September.  Convention is coming up in 3 weeks and I'm very excited to go and gather some new ideas to bring back (and hopefully some awards)!

Founders Day was really great last month!  We had a great attendance at the Indiana School for the Blind, installed the seniors and celebrated our local DG sisters who are out in the community doing good!  Thank you to Leigh Hinkle and Lori Feldmeyer!  Also, thank you to the Region 4 ladies that made the trip and took time out of their day to celebrate our founders.

We had our last Board meeting of the year and installed our new officers.  I must say, we have another great Board of returning and new women!  They have great ideas and are excited to get things started.

If you haven't already bought a cookbook, we still have some left.  The cookbook has over 150 recipes, along with DG and Indy DG facts.  It's really a nice item and you won't regret making this $10 purchase.  If you are interested, check out the website to order one or several!  =)

We are happy to post your big news of new job, wedding, new baby, etc.  We want to celebrate your achievements. If you or a sister has had anything exciting happen, let us know!  We’d love to share with the rest of the group!  This section is all about you!!

Don’t forget to check out the blog http://indydg.blogspot.com to stay in "the know" and watch for the 2010 Convention play-by-play!!
